Challenge
A prominent international trade association sought a stakeholder map to understand which organizations, government bodies and individuals have influence over agricultural biotechnology policy formulation in Southeast Asia.
Outcome
NHG team members in Southeast Asia conducted extensive research on biotech policy formulation in the region, and created a detailed map of key influencers. NHG also designed a strategic roadmap for the association with the goal of influencing policy at the ASEAN regional level. The advocacy strategy that NHG designed was adopted by the industry and is a cornerstone of its Southeast Asian policy agenda.
